No, you tell me about it 😭
Are you really crying (I know You're not irl. But I'm emoji) because I don't talk about Yemen specifically?

Is that what will make you happy?
 Well @ShiShi21m

I value you as someone I follow. You're funny and smart and clever.

But I don't appreciate you trying to police what topics come across my mind. That's a very fascist tactic. Big leftoid "DENOUNCE WHITE SUPREMACY" type energy.

But like I said. I value you as someone I follow. (Who cares if you follow me. I like your stuff.) So for you I'll post about Yemen. And repost it so it's not just here in this thread.

To the extent that I've heard/researched, Yemen is suffering from it at least extremely close to famine and this has being going on since like 2013 it so because of (civil?) war. The war is much older though I think. Like since the 2000s I think. The Houthis area rebel group at the heart of this. But even then Saudi Arabian has come in to handle things only making things exponentially more bloody. Annnnnd isn't Yemen the first place the US ever did drone strikes? So that doesn't help at all.

21 million people need food and medicine.
About 5 million women and children were displaced from their homes. There are few shelters, and even fewer not run by the government displacing people in the first place.

And what is it all about? Trade routes. Pretty sure.

And ALL war is terrible. And no one should support ANY of them especially if they're are other means available to work things out.

But I'm sure I could learn much more about Yemen. But you don't need to know much to know what's happening there is sickening and we shouldn't support it. 🤷🏽
Yeah this is my point, not to police what youre saying but to drive home a point about current thingenomics.

I have nothing but love for everyone and hope the wars end, but hope is a funny thing sometimes it gets dim..

I think in 60 years we'll have a Bitcoin standard and world peace (under my definition, hard to define).
PS. American weapons have been given to Saudi this entire time.

Not a single protest.
American weapons are given to both sides on every conflict whether we sell them directly or leave them there from wars past giving rise to our own worst enemies.

We created isis.

It's. All. Wrong.
 I hope so.

Last year on Nostr Walker told me "every sat you get is cash that can't take from me to pay for war."

And that struck me in a big way.
All you ever didn't want to know because war is hell: https://www.antiwar.com/regions/regions.php?c=Yemen
 That sentence though.

More true than ever.
