Oddbean new post about login | logout @8976b041 I was confused at first when I saw the English name. In my language it's called "River gull"... or less commonly "laugher gull". In fact the first one I saw didn't even have a dark head!
@9a3d0e66 I've heard those names used before. I like Laughing Gull, its more reflective that Black-headed (as the head is never black). Regarding is head, its only brown during the breeding months.
