Jacob put his body between women and children when the shooter charged towards the altar. He was air-lifted to a hospital in Albuquerque, and had surgery. The shooter, who was wearing a red MAGA hat, is in custody of tribal police. @0957ed09 Medical bills in the US are absurd. $250k is a pretty reasonable estimate of what it will take to get through the first part of recovery. After the initial medical bills there's still a lot for everyone to go through. Having money can go a long way to reduce one stresser on a family already under a lot of stress. There are also a lot of expenses that wouldn't be covered by even good insurance. The go find me is almost half way to its goal, so please take the time to donate what you can.
