There are some big Telegram accounts claiming to be me. They are impersonators, so be careful.

While I do have a Telegram account, I only use it for very limited purposes in small groups, and have not posted from it in many months.

On my homepage sidebar, I link to the four active socials I use. Anyone claiming to be me from other than those four is likely an impersonator.

Having skin in the game means nostr only.
I think your imposters, although frustrating and annoying, are a good test case for those of us designing Nostr apps. We’ll need to deal with even more scams as we go forward and we need to design decentralized ways of trust and verification. Your doppelgängers give us the example we can use to fix things.
 Thanks for the heads up.
I think this is where digital reputation verification would be so valuable. Each account and post is signed by your private key that holds that account, verifiable over time... like bitcoin does looking back on the chain. But the market loves opportunities, so it could be sold to a scammer. I doubt inherited accounts (if passed down in a will, for example) would work because of people flagging the account as not reliable anymore... which actually could be another way to fight accounts that are popular but not healthy to society.
