Is the "American Dream" still a thing?
If I ever wrote a book the title would be The Great American Nightmare- Corruption of a Dream
It's the "El Salvadorian" dream now 🟠😊
 yes there too
It's on its way to dying. Not completely, but, only in parts and if you're willing to work more than 99% of people.
The American Experiment has failed and the American Dream is dead
I'd say so. But it's tailored to the next generation. The drive for a nice house, nice car, all the material things are still there. Perhaps not a 2 car garage and 2 children but some form of the American Dream. People still desire to be in the US.
it depends on the interpretation of the dream. entrepreneurial and good job opportunities are still here
Hasn't been realizable for at least 40 years, though... /The dream/ itself is still there, I suppose. 🤔

It turned into a nightmare, it's trench warfare out there!https://m.primal.net/HYqc.png
The new “American Dream” is to have enough money to leave America.
 american dream 2024:

become wealthy enough

to finally afford therapy
Sorta. Not for regular Americans. I would say yes for most people who try to immigrate to the USA though
