I don't know how to compare the two. They both reliably deliver notifications. But I think Pokey's mechanism is more elegant and functionally sound as it hooks directly to your relays and generates notifications the instant a new qualifying event hits. It's very fast, and in my experience so far, very reliable.  

 I just received 4 notifications on pokey, 0 on oxchat. Pokey isn't missing any. 

 Yeah, it's basically a straight pipe between your relays and your device's notification system.
