 Mamey sapote pie 

pie experiment continues…

Really nice texture, sweet mild flavor somewhere between sweet potato and pumkin. People who normally don’t like this fruit (Pouteria sapota) may like this pie. The real color of the pie is more salmon pink. The photos’ color isn’t true.

 @adfbf87b the Alt Text is meant to describe the Foto. Not more, not less.

So please add the recepie in another Post next time. So visual impaired do not have to listen to the screenreader if they're not interested.

 @adfbf87b what a fun fruit. When I first moved to the tropics and had this fruit, I couldn't believe that a fresh, raw fruit could taste so much like *cooked* sweet potato! I have a tree I planted from seed, it's yet to bear fruit tho.
