 nice. i didn't thought something like block storage still get updated and changed in bitcoin core. i need to study this code base more.

a new feature is introduced in 28.0 that XORs the blocks on disk with a random key, to prevent block data from triggering false positives of virus scanners
however something in the implementation of that caused.a slowdown, which should be solved now 
 that was interesting! thanks for the explanation. ill try to put more time on these code base. i need to study some cpp first. 
 that makes sense, 27 is still the latest release
distros probably shouldn't be giving you a release candidate (testing version)
they'll pick up 28 once the final version is out 😀
