Can you set up the phone with an eSIM like silent.link before shipping?
This is a legitimately good deal. The biggest pain is privately sourcing the pixel phones that allow bootloader access. Most "unlocked" phones still dont allow access to the bootloader, which is essential to flash the ROM (load the degoogled OS)
Went from iPhone to degoogled Titan Pocket running Lineage and haven't looked back though I still use my old iPhone to screen share crunchyroll on the TV nostr:nevent1qqsqqqqq26l5lhdxfh0x6nst3cxw7yayerctpgfx5v0ruvzynn8xszcpr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmqzyzkr76h7zavn7cvpq5fa4jdpu4zws7uuaydj05mm3rk937a2jq225qcyqqqqqqgpevyr2
Qual a certeza de que não estaria trocando um espião pelo outro???
não tenho 100% de certeza. acho que a única maneira de ficar livre da vigilância é não ter celular.
Why would I want to pay for my private phone with a traceable currency such as Bitcoin?
Lol you sound like you've been zapping monero for a while on Nostr and everywhere... 🤔
I use Monero quite often, actually, at least once a week, if not more often than that. I even managed to pay some of my bills with Monero every single month.
Awesome, you keep your stash in #Bitcoin right? 👍
No way. I dont want to risk needing it and having $20USD tx fees. I hold Monero.
🤡 Read the book Layered Money, that'll help with this poor tx fee argument.
the tx fees are only one issue. the others are the lack of privacy and lightning is primarily custodial which is a no no.
...(Sir, you skipped the part where I told you to read a 📚) 😳🙄

The only one I'd recommend is a OnePlus that supports DivestOS, unless you want to grab a Pixel (non-Googled version) with GrapheneOS. However, I'll probably grab the OnePlus with Divest, since I wouldn't buy any Google products (unless used) anyway. This is the same with Motorolla.
I own a Pixel 8 and manually installed GrapheneOS! Been on it for a few months now and I'll NEVER go back. Avid FOSS user through Obtainium, as well as silent.link for my anon esim!! If my wife divorces me because of that, I promise I'll survive. Easy. Whole family still on FB, RIP... 🏋️♀️🥷🤙
Same since Dec! I never miss stock OS. Graphene has come a long way with usability. I think at this point if people were given the choice and knew the tradeoffs between stock Android and a degoogled os they would pick something like Graphene
My man!! Best combo: Amethyst+GOS 🔥 Man #GrapheneOS is like El Salvador 🇸🇻, you feel extremely safe when you make that choice! 🛀
