Iran threatens to destroy oil assets in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in response.
I'm thinking "NO!  Iran, don't make an enemy of Saudi Arabia!  They might come to your side, but not if you blow up their oil!"
Then Saudi Arabia meets with Iran wanting to "permanently close the chapter on their differences"
Whew. 

 And what is the international policeman, the USA, doing at this time? 

 Firmly outside your sphere of influence 

 Yeah I know. But it's like watching a rubgy game. Good wholesome entertainment. 

 it's times like this when i am glad i drive a plug-in hybrid that only needs filling up once a month / every 1,000 miles or so.
