Just spoke at a real estate convention where the organizers spent the majority of the time explaining to the audience that the only reason real estate is an "investment" is because the money is broken. Long after all the other vendors had packed up and left, the Bitcoin Mentor booth was still packed with people asking questions to learn more. Bullish. https://image.nostr.build/8dfa95bc99a57d9251fe297c5474690326c8c3d75488b73b6580c60a0218a992.jpg
In Blame Maple— or another country?
This one was indeed North of the ice wall. Toronto, to be specific.
Congrats and awesome. Idk much about btc mentor, but if that's you pushing the btc sessions to the next level, excellent! You're a major asset to the btc community. As for your post, that's just hilarious and ironic for that RE professional to say. Lol. No. REAL ESTATE IS BROKEN BECAUSE MONEY IS BROKEN
I'm going to a local "investment" meetup later this month and I plan on talking about Bitcoin as a store of value asset. Might use some slides I presented over the summer for our local Bitcoin meetup 🔥 https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1SYwXSdPHepZQAUqBQ2PdZd7ctbRBkWE7lV1rJq-kHNs/edit?usp=sharing
play this @_Checkmatey_ “HODL waves” clip and wait for questions 😝 https://youtu.be/J1AzesoyaGM
Eventually - maybe not tomorrow or even in the next 20 years, who knows? - this realization will cause real estate to start falling; then crash completely resulting in a global financial crisis similar to (but much worse than) 2008. Unfortunately, this is what 'gradually, then suddenly' means IRL. Bitcoin is the lifeboat, but the ship sinking won't be pretty.
Am I missing the satire or sarcasm? Is this real??
No this legit happened yesterday.
There were a lot of pre-coiners at that event
“Invest in real estate, so that one day your property might be bought for a lot more than you paid for it, but since the currency will be worth a lot less it will be like selling it for half the price you paid” •__• •__• •___• •___•

Thanks for all you do Ben!
Personally, I'd prefer the parasites learn it last. Teaching these people is a disservice to all the plebs and people who could be plebs that don't have a parasitic mindset.
Everyone there that I talked to just grew up in an environment where all they learned early on was to own assets, not cash. I don't think they were parasites, they were responding to incentives and protecting their families. Up until now, was there any alternative?
Yes. A poor alternative, but morally superior to using debt and tax breaks to steal in a round about way. Gold. Poor alternative, but still an alternative.
Do you think it is wrong to teach the truth? How will people learn if no one takes a leap of faith to teach any and everyone?
Here's my longer thoughts on it : nostr:nevent1qqs266ad0tn53rzwe474x777c5qs5pj6c0jld66y9stx7k35xzm7swqppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qgs9tatnkeg7lu63mdtmqcqayvpzmrzn97vztkcs54ena0eehe92yxcrqsqqqqqp5hj8w6 If that works... Making my own little leap of faith...
BUT YOU CANNOT LIVE IN A BITCOIN
you could build a house with paper wallets
real estate is magic if you know how to do it
Tu fais un très beau travail continue ainsi
Lol time to entertain new ideas, once the carrying cost of real estate starts to munch into those unrealised fiat gains and those bags start to get heavier
