Principal stabbed to death by student in Assam ========== A 55-year-old principal named Rajesh was stabbed to death by a 16-year-old student in Sivasagar district of Assam. The incident occurred after Rajesh reprimanded the student over his poor academic performance. Rajesh, who hailed from Ongole in Prakasam district, taught chemistry in the college and managed the school. He had been working as a chemistry lecturer at a private junior college in Vizag city before starting a private coaching center in Sivasagar district. The accused student was scolded by Rajesh and the college's mathematics lecturer for his poor performance in mathematics and was asked to bring his parents to the college. The body of Rajesh was brought to Ongole and cremated on Monday evening.
