Quantos homens é necessário pra fazer uma transação na Lightning? Hahahahha nostr:nevent1qqsq0hpjclz5rkug66q6g82cn5e6ny2kaupt0smxccqg969m3sdwgzspzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtczyruwd3jrgtc7q5jgqccwylsszmwwxh7r5c2wvpp5lm625fgrx2x2jqcyqqqqqqgnms424
No reason to use lightning for that demonstration. Just use on chain. Fees are criminally low.
Seems like it took a lot longer than it should? And the commentary was sadly uninspiring - shouldn't be questioning if it went through :(
lol yea 😅 But my sarcasm above aside, I think this was significant. It has the potential to suddenly normalize Bitcoin for people who have otherwise only heard of it in negative light (terrorist, money laundering, drug dealers, etc). Here it is being used on national tv by a former President to buy a burger at a local business. New tech (and bitcoin is new for most people) gets some leeway if it doesn’t quite work as smoothly as intended.
We gotta figure out tap to pay
It’s already supported by several lightning wallets. The merchant just needs to have a NFC reader as part of their point of sale system. Or they could use something like Breez which has a built in point of sale with NFC support directly on the device.
Which lightning wallets have tap to pay? Apparently I’ve been missing out
Breez and Wallet of Satoshi both have point of sale UI options in the settings and they accept NFC payments that way. BTCpay server and LNbits also support it. And I may be wrong but I thought Zeus had a point of sale option with NFC, but maybe not. I couldn’t find it in my app.
