Writing them all off as being motivated by spite is just a dismissive, self-reinforcing tactic to cloister yourself in your own beliefs and provide a justification for not considering the matter any further. It's not intellectual honesty, and it's not productive.
Why would I consider it any further… I could care less.
If you want data look it up. Surveys will say people are not happy with new leadership … aka Elon. Because they don’t like that he went right.
Otherwise outline the changes that you think that made them leave. I don’t know what they are since I don’t use that platform - I’m going off of what I see and hear and what I’ve experience on blue sky. Nothing to do with intellectual honesty.
It’s also possible people are leaving because there is an alternative now and it just so happens to align with their ideology. Combined with “media says Elon bad” could be reason enough to switch
