 I think you put into words something I couldn’t articulate, but only feel.

This last year, I’ve been collecting dictionaries from different publishers and epochs. I now find it fun to compare word definitions from one decade to the next. This is not something I could have seen myself do, only a few years back.

Maybe the attack on language is giving me a new appreciation for words and their meanings.

That's a perfect comparison and incredibly hilarious. 

 I would like to get my hands on an old huge dictionary from the 1950s or so. 

 I got to see this somewhat in China. A friend told me she prefers English for complex or abstract conversations because the words don't exist in Mandarin. But I know the words still exist in Taiwanese Mandarin. 

 Oh crap!   Interesting perspective.  I didn’t think about it, but the LLM could absolutely be designed this way!
