Opened a channel, connected my node to the @ZEUS app, and paired my node with @NWC to #zap directly from my node. It's about time I sat down and did this to commit to self-soverignty. Ahh. I've just upgraded to one of the n100 Umbrel devices with the 2tb nvme drive and it only took 3 days. The 16gb ram would have helped too I guess.
Can you share any resources you used to 1) open a channel on Umbrel 2) pair node from Zeus to Nostr app via NWC 3) which app and phone combo did you use (e.g., Damus and iPhone)? Mostly I am sending zaps via Mutiny to people I follow on Nostr. I like Primal, but don’t want to use their wallet, preferring self-sovereign option. Is there a way to connect Damus/iOS app to Umbrel node via NWC? TY
You don't have to use the in built primal wallet. Primal also works with NWC. On Android it does anyway.
I’m literally in the same boat, only with Start9 rather than Umbrel. I’ve spent all week literally setting up all the same things you have & it’s been an amazing experience. 💪 LFG
