Got a food dehydrator and cut some ribeyes into 1 cm slices. Dehydrated for 8 hours, salted, peppered.
FUCK they are good. Makes regular beef jerky completely unappealing. This is an incredible hack. Got the idea from Dr. Anthony Chaffee who everyone should listen to.

This ^ is where I learned about this tech but it is a pretty general guideline.
I set my dehydrator to 167 degree Fahrenheit and went 8 hours. They weren’t fully dehydrated but I’d say about 90%. I’m thinking I’ll try 9 hours next time for a full dehydration.
I keep looking at my 2 dehydrators & asking myself why am I not doing this????
