I still remember the days when "getting on the Internet" meant figuring out the PPP settings for Trumpet Winsock.

My first web browser was Netscape Navigator 0.<something> which my ISP shipped on floppies as part of a welcome package. It was even reasonably current at the time.

Just the other day I called my credit card company about an issue with their online service. "What web browser?" "Firefox." "Can you try Chrome?" "*No.*" "Umm, okay... well then..."
