Starting to remember why I hate windows. It’s been like this for an hour. I can’t keep my computer on! i need to leave 🤦‍♂️

@vrod im not just staying at the office to drink, i am being held hostage https://i.nostr.build/PEjLFBV1cJa7Kfxq.jpg
My windows is Asus. Does not look like an Asus.
 I got a lenovo yoga.
You got a Lenovo child’s pose
 Terrible laptop from experience
This kind of crime against humanity is not something one easily forgets.

Windows is evil and has been for many years
I finally installed Mint on everything I could. Thankfully the install is pretty straight forward and it drives like Windows. Surface devices are my go to for traveling for work. Good luck with your buffering 😎
 Sure sure
 Windows == ass
What do you think about users can put files here? Like ebooks or something else
if it still runs, shut it down by long press of powerbutton, fuck windows 🫸
 Uh huh …
they use it to remind you that it's a computer..
Why using Windows? That's torture for devs.
because i want to make sure it works on windows
 my condolences
So you provide incentives to people to NOT learn about and USE better tech.

Think again if your time is invested well in keeping the surveillance monster that is Windows alive for longer than needed.
The only way to tolerate windows is to completely disable and block windows from auto updates. Id rather risk the viruses than put up with that shit.
Rage against the machine wrote their song after using Windows for year...
Don't remind me how many times I have been held hostage by M$.
Yes, held hostage from my work. I had that for 3 hrs yesterday.
God knows why people continue to put up with shit like that. It's well over 20 years when I switched entirely to linux and never looked back.

Back then, Windows would give me the blue screen of death for absolutely NO REASON whatsoever. I mean, literally, I would do nothing yet it would break.

Every upgrade was touted as "better, faster, more secure" yet all I saw was more shit.

This is the company, back in the day, that took the mp3 format and decided, what a wonderful idea if we could embed executables mid-stresm! I never forgave them for that, taught me once and for all that they could never be trusted.
