Some musicals are great and yes, the Joker sucks.

 Rocky Horror Picture Show, Cats, Stomp, Wizard of Oz.
But I think most movies that try to be a musical just fail. I watched the new Joker for about 20 minutes (I think). Basically, I turned it off the first time he started to sing. 

 Oh shit I forgot The wizard of Oz was a musical, I actually went on a field trip when I was a kid to see the musical live and the nutcracker.. okok those two are coool

But yeah man I was so disappointed with the joker

 I love musicals a la Singing in the Rain, White Christmas, Calamity Jane, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers...new musicals suck I agree. 

 100% agree on the new Joker 

 Book of Mormon is the greatest musical of all time. Saw it once in London, and I was blown away. The entire production was so good, and I laughed almost all the time. 

I’ve produced 5 high school musicals myself, and even though they might be variable in quality, it’s a unique project for my students that they express so much gratitude for being a part of. And I always end up crying watching them perform… Guess I’m getting older.

  I wasn't bored during the movie, but i didn't like it, I probably wouldn't watch it a second time.

I watched the second episode of The Penguin yesterday.. so boring..too much fillers, a boring thug story, with attempted twists that you see coming half hour in advance. 

 avenue q doesnt suck 🥳
