Does anyone here own a 6k display? Curious how good it looks. I just went to 4K from 5k and want to cry 😿
Mate, we're still living in 1080p territory here 😂
Right there with you.
I don't get the hype, higher resolution, more data... I'll stick to SD where possible & 720p if I can't.
I'm happy they aren't 'smart' TV's or internet connected, I'm a TV Luddite
Over 720p is short bircoin
Not for me. Anything under 5k is short. Few.
You need a 58k display. Few.
58k is all you need 👌🏽 https://i.nostr.build/uCJ0AYwFKl291nKW.jpg
21k is obligatory 😀
Anything above 1080p is high-time preference
Only if you’re the type who thinks saving is the best way to stack (hint: it’s not)
Man thinks he will spend himself into prosperity?
I doubt a higher res monitor makes one a better programmer and therefore makes one more money from a programming day job
I’m not a programmer
Ah, you see, I am. That is my bias ;)
My eyes can’t tell a difference. I have a 75 inch aQLED, But my parents just got a 78 inch OLED 4k and it’s pretty incredible. I can’t imagine justifying the price for 6K thinking I would be able to notice.
Once you go 5k from 4K you notice it immediately. And I don’t know what 6k looks like … want to find out
Anything above 4k is just waste of money.
That’s what I thought until I used a 5k
Lol I can always see the difference and it's drastic between different resolutions and different refresh rates, nothing is overkill and the more the better. I don't even have that good eyesight and I can obviously see the difference so it shocks me when people say it doesn't matter 😂
Perhaps it's a placebo effect. Mind needs something to justify the price. Btw, which Brand-model did you view ?
