Why? He’s probably educated more people on bitcoin than anyone else. I probably wouldn’t even be here rn if it wasn’t for him.
Andreas was the GOAT back in the day. His Money as a System of Control is one of those vids I have to rewatch from time to time.

He has produced some stellar content in the past but I hear he ventured off to shitcoinery. There hasn't been any good content since. I don't see what good he would do on Nostr. If you start a-shitcoining at such a late stage in your bitcoin journey I don't know what to say...
He wrote a technical book on Ethereum, but I’ve never seen him shill any shitcoins. He co-wrote Mastering Lightning after that which is a great book. And he still produces great content on YouTube.
He is? Wonder why I don't see anyone sharing his more recent videos anywhere. Good to know I had the wrong impression on the shitcoin issue. Writing a technical book on a shitcoin is definitely not the same level of scammy behaviour than shilling one.

If you dismiss Antonopoulos because he shitcoins, you are more of a treat to Bitcoin than a help. Bitcoin must remain dominant because it makes the best tradeoffs for the most people. It can do this because it has the first mover advantage of the network effect. Any othercoin that copies Bitcoin too closely gets absorbed by Bitcoin. Any coin that differentiates too much, makes compromises in some regard and only fills a niche and lacks liquidity. The free market competition is essential in ensuring that Bitcoin adopts the best set of tradeoffs. If we cancel shitcoins and worship Bitcoin as perfected we open it to attacks.
