Legacy media might be the best word. @HODL was calling them ‘corporate’ media, which is better than mainstream obviously, but might inadvertently give capitalism a bad name… I also like how legacy is temporal and shows how these entities are already part of the past. Yup legacy media it is!
I call it state sponsored propaganda often as well.
Fake News gets to the point and is accurate
Fake news is good, but has become a bit of a meme. Propaganda is a trigger word that makes people who aren’t awake yet (idiots) take it more seriously.
