This is cool. Encode text data into audio. 170 characters, 2800 bps. You could send lightning invoices over ham radio! This is the app on my phone reading the audio from the YouTube video. https://v.nostr.build/6gQO.mp4 https://github.com/aicodix/rattlegram
so cool
interesting………..but why?
The app is made for use in emergency situations. You can send text data over CB, FRS, ham radio. The ability to send data when services are down and It requires no special equipment. I think the end goal is devices with this built in, for handheld long range text comms. https://www.ribbitradio.org
very interesting. i just have to find somebody who is equally prepared just in case, which is almost impossible. nobody is prepared where I am.
It can even encode your call sign in the spectrogram 😁 https://v.nostr.build/6gQv.mp4 nostr:nevent1qqsqrazdj2vrcrcg23jyna6ysge55xp20du2t3gavcu3eyspmgy5snspz4mhxue69uhhy7tpdchxummnw3erztnrdaksygx74dua47su90jtffkn4jsn27mv4g9hgjl5dt2jnfdwgepgs4u7dqpsgqqqqqqs2jvjnd
