This can still be frustrating on Nostr:

Amethyst on mobile is my go-to client. I just went to Primal desktop and saw many notifications and messages that didn't come through on Amethyst. Now, I want to reply in desktop with Primal, but I repeatedly get the message "No relay confirmed reception of your message within 8 seconds." 😵‍💫

I think if we dream about Nostrs widespread adoption, besides anything else, these things gotta work more seamlessly.

Does anyone know if I myself can do anything better in terms of relay management to prevent this?

 Meh who cares, in real life you don’t respond to all noise either. You’ll miss  some posts/messages, its not perfect and doesn’t need to be to be useful 

 Well, well ... ask a current Instagram user whether she doesn't care if her reply messages don't go out or she doesn't receive important reaction of fans and colleagues. She'd say it's broken, can I have something else please.

But, yeah, better than centralized, so far I agree.
