My guess is that the gif keyboard he's using switched from "paste URL" to "paste the actual image" and that's why it doesn't work anymore.

 I'm using Microsoft SwiftKey and I think it's the keyboard's fault not Amy.

 Oh it stopped working with SwiftKey, the method I mentioned above works with Google keyboard 

 I haven't posted a single gif on Amethyst since I first used Nostr over a year ago.
