prob cause graphene, the camera is more raw i guess. thats ok, moores law will take care of it and 1080p will seem like VHS
Your device will probably only have enough pixels for 720p and your eyes can probably only resolve 560p at best and only in the very center. So, waste of data that is being discarded by the device once downloaded.

VHS is 320x480 (to be exact) but usually interlaced
