Everyone is salivating about the Putin interview and I'm just asking myself why I should listen to a bat shit crazy mass murderer. I didn't care about Stalin's or Hitler's philosophy either, I don't care about what the Kim family think about how a country should be run either.

Of course anyone can interview anyone they want and publish it. But I won't read a bad book and I certainly don't care about Putin's internal world and his powertrips.
 Agreed.
On the other hand I totally don't get all the voices how this is wrong, this is treason and whatever shit.
Journalist should make interviews with everyone who is interested to their readers.
Also one consideration - we here know Putin and his predecessors quite well. In USA I guess majority of people never heard him speaking.

Because Putin, Zelensky and Biden are all bat shit crazy mass murderers. As the famous saying goes "You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you". And If you ignore the real world for long enough, you might end up being part of the "mass".

I too don't care about Stalin's philosophy but I'll use his quote:
- "The press must grow day in and day out - it is our Party's sharpest and most powerful weapon."

If you want to be immune to propaganda, you have to know the source material and all points of view.
I mean, I'd take the Vladimir Posner argument that leaders should have a voice so they can be understood. But Tucker is hardly an unbiased journalist, and Putin has already written several essays about his Ukr policy with footnotes.
I hear my government pledging billions of our tax money, paid by us for us, overseas to foreign people's without any accounting or democratic vote. A war where it's obvious we're only given one side of the story through orchestrated MSM. I think it's great the other side can be heard widely so people can make up their own minds based on logical reasoning.
What are you reading out of interest?
