Slowly, piece by piece. Don't blame bitcoin because of poor personal financial planning.   Here is my question: Why wasn't the pre work done? Why don't you have a list of people you can contact to buy and sell Bitcoin in a jam? Why are you trusting bitcoin to solve a problem it doesn't try to solve?
