@a461cadf Here in fire ant country, I can't imagine being an animal having to live amongst them 24/7. Fire ants occupy every square foot of land here.
@55efd5c4 oddly, my neighborhood in central Austin has mostly native ants. I occasionally see fire ants along some of the sidewalks but they’re not dense like they are in new and heavily irrigated areas.
