so could just be like.. bad wizards & witches with dumb spells & some spells that are just hanging around

 could also say war inside numbers or book of numbers or an argument over arabic numerals 

 numbers corresponding to levels of reality etc like 3d, 5d in that new age way people say. like ohh in 5d reality this but not in 3d reality. etc
