 The ultimate blue check 😭
I guess if they dont have a brain to start with, its an improvement.
People with trouble using a mouse & kb might have a legitimate use case. Access to games and cyberspace beats the hell out of staring at a wall for 16h/day
 Stupid
 Musk fan boi
 Stupid fucker
For real. Who’s falling for this shit?
This is exactly what I was talking about the other day, your thoughts are your only true privacy nowadays, but in the future, you could be judged by them.

They can't secure a car and people want this chip in their head.
I could see how adjacent tech in the future may help folks with profoundly debilitating neurologic issues in rare situations (think Parkinson’s, ALS, etc.).

But…just throwing a Musk chip in your brain for shits & giggles is a big tall glass of ‘fuck no’ from me 🤣
I am quite optimistic about these kinds of technologies, and I can see their potential.

However, I cannot trust a billionaire with that. I don't want ads in my brain. If it is open source and tested, I can give it a second thought.
there's this really small side note in the Neil Stephenson near future book The Diamond Age where most of the people that decide to get first gen neural interfaces get infected with spam bots and get constant popups ads that quickly drives them all insane and that has always really stuck with me and there is no way in hell I'd ever get an implanted neural interface.
A side note to the side note: Why tf there are no series/movies/games based on Neal Stephenson's books?
Not to mention go septic and 💀 from real life infections. Being inundated with spam ads with a splitting headache and a fever sounds like a special kind of hell.
Watch out for that Musk you smell… something stinks…
