 There’s 2 schools of thought.
Build around or it through it. It kind of mirrors the debate of whether it works bringing change from the inside.
Most days I’m for around it but on certain days I think this can’t work. But the 2 prong approach wins
We need to keep the pressure on the bureaucracy. It’s been ten years since the BitLicense. It’s done nothing except consolidate power in institutions that have proven they can’t be trusted.
Would love all federal and state funded programs to disappear entirely. Have never been able to name a single one I feel can outperform similar options from the private sector.
I hear you, but IMHO that isn’t a realistic goal for probably our lifetimes. That’s why it’s important to focus on specific issues that have a chance of success, like repealing or drastically reforming the BitLicense.
 BitLicense is a complete scam.

“We don’t understand something, so until we do, it’s banned” is so short-sited. It takes a few YEARS for companies to go through the legal system just to be allowed to operate as normal as they can in 49 other states.

Everyone knows this, and not sure who gave NY any authority to operate like this. It hinders innovation and business severely.
