Hmmm, would it be possible to share a PWA from a local install? Like I install it once on my phone, then I can share it from my phone.

Why?

Would be fun to share PWAs without hosting a website for it. 

It would really be an invite only app that spreads pleb2pleb.

 If you host snort on Umbrel and expose it to the clearnet(Cloudlfare Tunnel is easy, but requires a credit card) anyone can use it as a PWA. 

 What I meant is a bit different usecase. It is to be able to spread an app (PWA), after its hosting site is down.

But probably the easiest way is to open source it, and then even if it is taken down, anyone else can host it. 

 It should work the same. 

 But this requires my instance to be running, right?

I wanted this to work without any hosted instance.

 

 Yeah. There might be some ways to ger around this with pear, but I don't fully understand it yet.
