playa hermosa
for a chill beach vibe and calm waters, i like playa hermosa. i stayed here for one night, which was good for that purpose https://maps.app.goo.gl/o6sQzMc2HgAKzSwG6

while i was there this place looked pretty cool although i havent stayed there https://maps.app.goo.gl/qYpTSqjxfkh2bqzJ6 the attached restaurant was a little pricey but the food was good and live music was fun.

las catalinas
for an upscale, unique experience, look into las catalinas. whether you stay there or nearby, las catalinas is a walking only almost european feeling town built on the coast. google it and youll see what i mean.
