I know that studies build on studies, so this is a finding. I want to race to the end of the book and know WHY! Why do women react differently to so many drugs?
theory: Women have bodies designed to carry a foreign-dna object to term. This means having an immune system that can adapt. There are doctors that say the menstrual cycle is radical, meaning it radically destroys the fixed biological concepts of static homeostasis.
And having two sets of genes probably plays a part.
That's a whole different game. They are trying to fix males with female-like solutions, since many females can get one good and one defective gene, and be OK.
Rube is going to unsubscribe, but those still capable of critical thought, know what is called "gene therapy" is at best mosaic therapy (only partial gene changes in parts of the body), and the dangers are not known, and cannot be known, esp regarding the bodies adaption to chimeraism.

Oh wow did not think of this!

I’ve seen it suggested that this is generally why women have both stronger immune systems and more autoimmune problems.
