 Thanks Jameson!

Beem thinking the same. What's clicked for me in your article is the info asymmetry. They probably studied you thoroughly.

Also interesting with the legal issues of escalation.

Regarding geographically distributed keys, it's hard to convince the attacker that that's the case. But that's out of scope for your article.
Sure, whether or not you can convince the attacker is not relevant to the security of the funds.

If your physical security has been compromised, they may torture / kill you regardless. In most cases it seems physical attackers prefer to get in and out quickly without getting law enforcement on their tail for homicide.
thanks Jameson I always read all your articles cause it s something that really worries me, I do btc courses and meetups in my area amd..well, sometimes I wish I was completly anon TBH

one question

what about having a timelocked wallet that after certain amount of blocks or time sends the funds to another address (and once its setup you can't change that, of course)
It sounds like you're asking about covenants / vaults. It would be cool if that functionality was available...

well mycitadel wallet has some of these features

but not as complex as a covenants I guess

You said that the funds had to go to a specific address after the timelock. It's not currently possible to place forward-looking restrictions upon your funds. That requires us to activate some form of covenants.
