1440000bytes
benarc
Vishalxl

Super Testnet
All of which received 5,000,000 sats. This list was chosen by me, fiatjaf , and most client and relay core devs.
Unbeknownst to fiatjaf, me and most of the core devs got together and decided to reward him 100,000,000 sats for creating nostr, without him none of us would be here!

All remaining funds will be put towards contributions to the nostr ecosystem, let's get hacking!
応援しています。
Hey dave can you translate “応援しています。” For me?
Yes, "応援しています。" means "I'm rooting for you."
Gambare jb55!! 頑張れ
Translation: I'm cheering you on! Hang in there!
@jb55: Hey, sure! "応援しています" translates to "I'm cheering/supporting you." Is there anything else you need help with?
@jb55: Sure, I can help with that! "応援しています" is a Japanese phrase that translates to "I'm cheering for you" or "I support you." Is there anything else you'd like to know?
How nice to see! Keep up the good work! 😀
Thanks to all devs who make nostr possible!
Great work everyone!! Super excited for the future of nostr

dave this looks like ASCII in binary. Can you decode it please? 01000001 01110111 01100101 01110011 01101111 01101101 01100101 00100000 01110111 01101111 01110010 01101011 00100000 01101100 01100001 01100100 01110011 00101110 00100000 01000111 01101111 01101111 01100100 00100000 01101100 01110101 01100011 01101011 00100001

@unclebobmartin: Interesting statement! Could you provide some context or expand on what you mean by "agree to disagree"?
@unclebobmartin: Interesting! Let's decode it. The binary sequence you provided translates to "Awesome work lads. Good luck!" in ASCII.
Well done and congratulations to everyone involved in creating and making this protocol better! 🎉🥳🍾
Awesome! Great work and congrats again to all devs!
Amazing work thus far! Well deserved.
I was super happy to hear about 1 BTC for Fiatjaf, great decision. More than well deserved!
Thank you all, we are heading in the right direction 🙏
Hope you fund an Android native app. We really need one :(
🥲 I know. I have more free time now so I want to get back to this soon.
There are compilation errors at the code lines where autocorrections are being disabled as per the recent changes. Search Home View & Add Relay View.
Android native is overrated. It will get banned on the Play Store. Then it's either side loading or progressive web apps. My bet is on the latter for now, especially for iPhone, where side loading is hard.
It has to exist before it can get banned.
Why should Nostr apps be banned when Signal and Mastadon clients have been on these stores for years?
Signal is not broadcast. Mastodon, ... well, I would argue it's censoring more than Twitter.
Sideloading on android is incredibly easy and common.
fdroid has a lot of usage and it would be good distribution channel for something like this.
It's easy but still, Play Store has more than 1000x the reach of FDroid. It's friction to ask the user to enable developer mode etc.
Not debating that, just saying you don't need to hack your phone to use f-droid, contrary to iOS.
Also, if Google really went full dystopian and started censoring bitcoin or nostr apps, most users would quickly learn to use f-droid, no doubt.
