I used to have a rule for social media: good vibes ONLY. I wouldn't post anything that wasn't uplifting. When I break this rule, social media becomes a burden for me and for those I'm connected with. So I want to get back to it again. It's a very bloomer thing to do. GM & PV! Nostr is the best!

The absence of an omniscient algo in and of itself alone feels beneficent.
Does this not project one side of you while concealing the other? This makes me think of the Instagram "stars" that have miserable existences but look glamourous online because it's a well crafted window into their lives.
Pretending to be someone who you are not is different from choosing what you want to reveal about yourself.
