 It’s disturbing and inhumane that Dianne Feinstein was casting votes at 90 years old hours before she died. 
 She gave us the assault weapons ban and told us the CIA was spying on the Senate. Maybe she shouldn’t have run the last time, but I really did not like her opponent.

 I was a bit bewildered by this earlier. What’s the turnover-due-to-defeat like in the US? It seems amazing to me that the same person can hold a seat for so long. Is it just that a few safe-states mean there are a handful of people who serve for decades, or is it common nation-wide? 

You really seem to need either term or age limits. 
 They’ll wheel a new body in soon.  They’ll take any bought and paid for person until they can just get rid of in-person legislating and let the DNC create bots to vote in the new e-Congress.
