 New Linkin Park

It's good but I wish these were longer. Feels like half a song.

Business model of # of streams for revenue has killed the 4 plus minute song
I love those like seven minute Metallica songs where there are structural changes that happen in the song, almost like different acts of the song rather than being one act.

Actually multiple covers with great transitions, but this song does come to mind 🤘
If you like that style of metal may I recommend Iron Maiden.
Same. And Justice For All and Master of Puppets were phenomenal albums (same with for Ride the Lightning). For more recent, I like Avenged Sevenfold. They have some great long song with lots of structural changes (single: Tonight the World Dies)
I was never a Linkin Park fan but I absolutely love her screaming voice.
 Yeah she’s surprisingly great.
She really maintains that vocal fry scream well. It's so smooth. I was afraid to listen to this but now I guess I need to listen to the album. RIP Chester.
She sounds just as smooth live.

 Amazing
Even better imo. This was the first I saw and that raw energy after she confidently struts to the stage just blew me away.
I agree, the songs are too short. But it still means a lot to me that Linkin Park ist back.
No great song should have less than 5 minutes.
Hasn’t grabbed me so far. Seems pretty run of the mill.
Not a banger but a solid LP song. Sounds a bit more like their older work.

I agree with your assessment. It does leave me wanting. Would be great if they embraced longer songs with more variety of movements. They certainly have the skill for it.
