But if everyone keeps waiting, how can things get improved? We need people to dive in, engage, and help shape it.
Yes, it takes effort, and it might not be as polished as other platforms—but that’s exactly the point.
On Nostr, you’re not just renting space on someone else’s platform, where they can control your identity and censor you. Here, you truly own your identity and your social graph which is so powerful.

Getting better part is just a lie.
I'll politely disagree. When I joined last year, things were rapidly improving. This year, nearly everything is broken. So, I've pretty much given up trying to on board people until the big dev circle jerk figures out that chasing VC money instead of fixing broken basics is not the best way to keep people around.
in many ways the UI is better on Nostr. in every way we have complete feed control too here. I honestly don't see why people would wait when right now decisions are being made and new NIPs are being created. this building up phase is the best part.
