let's just add this to the thread - while BC Health 'debates' whether or not to reintroduce masks in clinical settings, a reminder that NEVER in the history of public health have authorities knowingly allowed an incredibly contagious and disabling pathogen to spread in hospitals among patients, staff and visitors  

How can they reconcile claiming people should not avoid healthcare when the actual situation is it's incredibly dangerous

The public have an absolute right to know the infectious situation in hospitals, long term care, schools and the community

It is the DUTY of public health officials to openly provide that information in a timely manner

Trying to cover their own inadequacy with claims of 'negative connotations' is egregious gaslighting

Sending people into known danger is illegal
