@cb401a9e Well it's probably worth finding climate scientists or other environmental professionals and following them so you have a better understanding. Then find the people who think that things should change and follow them. At some point there'll hopefully be something that you can contribute towards and since there's a bunch of people here that could make quite the difference. There is some leadership going on, just insufficient.

@cb401a9e Yes, MicroblogFedi does lend itself automatically to "think global, act local" by design, making it easy to keep track of the foremost thinkers in the field and also people local to you. I find the inherent self-organising properties very attractive which is why I like putting # on posts and helping connect people. 😀
