I stood up on stage at both Nostr conferences and quite literally pointed out examples of offensive and harassment on Nostr. Almost every Nostr developer saw it in person or watched the video. Everyone was very polite, even when we didn’t all agree, which is fine. Nobody assaulted me. I’m going to be speaking at Nostriga in August. I expect the same reaction then, some agreement, some people who disagree, and a lot of productive debate. I’m sorry to hear that you’re such a snowflake about what some stranger says that you’ll threaten violence and go to jail. Personally I’m not so easily offended. You’re welcome to run our open source nostr bot and publish a report on everyone of my notes. I don’t threaten people with violence to silence their speech like you’re doing.

dont fall for rabble there is no violence. Someone stated that rabble acts like a jerk behind the keyboard but would be afraid to do it in person for fear of being assaulted. It was a commentary on rabbles perceived character rather than any threat of violence. Beyond that I offered to protect him personally if anyone threatened him. I believe the phrase that was used was . "I wouldn't let anyone hit him. he seems frail" so rabble, knowing the full context has chosen to trigger the violence words in order to raise the stakes a little. The thing is rabble that we are all seeing you behave this way all day. Accusing someone of threatening violence is low and kinda tracks with what you are being accused of. He was the one saying he would happily go to jail… I think it’s silly and was pointing out that I’ve safely talked about this showing problematic nostr posts to a room full of Nostr users. Nobody got so upset as to use violence.

IRL, snitches and people who keep lists of strangers get hospitalized. Yea, I would very happily go to jail AGAIN. Been there once cuz a fucking faggot snitched on me. There is a reason pedos and snitches are treated the same in prison. They are the LOWEST forms of life and are dealt with like the human filth they are.
