1. Just because you keep it doesn’t mean you have to use it.

2. Use it to get people to come over to nostr: post only partials of your work there and include a way for them to see the rest of the work on nostr.

3. It’s still a source of realtime news that isn’t being covered by msm.

 I would suspect when you delete the account, that the data is not really deleted.  So sounds like your sweating the small stuff, just stop using it. 

 Strangely enough that’s not the only reason a person would want to delete their account. 

 I surprisingly found that switching to a small community can fulfill my needs.  

 If you personally get no value from posting on X then you should stop. I don’t mean financial value, I mean happiness value. Do you enjoy using it?

It sounds like you don’t because of the poor engagement. Since they already have your KYC info, deleting it won’t give you back your privacy. Putting your nostr profile in your X bio and just going all in on nostr is what I would do. The only reason to delete is if you’d like to send a symbolic fuck you to Elon and the establishment.

 I’ve never had Twitter but it seems like it’s not worth it from the things I’ve seen and read. I would probably just make a post and say something like:

“I've decided to transition my updates and interactions to Primal for a few key reasons: the platform offers enhanced privacy and security features, the quality of community interactions is exceptional, Nostr's decentralized nature aligns with my values, and I have more control over my content and how it’s shared. I’ll be using X as a historical reference for past posts. Thank you for your support, and I look forward to connecting with you on Primal!”

Or something along those lines.

But don't waste time in delete operation .. let it just sit there unattended .. I mean you don't delete old email accounts .. or clean up emails - do you ?

Cuz if you deleted .. they will chase you .. for ever .. their tricks are far beyond sending hourly emails ..

So there is that to consider.  

 Don't delete but pin a tweet that shows people how to use Nostr.

Then use Nostr 99% of the time.

 Unlike MySpace, X doesn't let  you add HTML sparkles to your profile. Oh X is a privacy nightmare, typing into a black box of goon feed. Freedom of speech on X is just a funny meme.

More to the point, can you justify why you still have an account there?
