Define self-censoring Laesarin. There are tons of things that go through my head that I don’t say, both online and in the real world. Because I want to be nice. Because what we do is what makes us nice or not nice. I see lots of room for this statement to be misinterpreted.

But censorship resistance is most valuable for people whose opinions aren't popular. Most people avoid talking about any subject that might upset someone else. It's seen as rude. Stick to "safe, preapproved topics". Unless they're just trolls. Then they just walk around insulting random people.

Fair point. In that case, I'll give you a few subjects that aren't safe. I'm vocal about these in real life from time to time but I rarely if ever post about them online. I'm tired of Indians and Muslims being let en-masse into Canada. It's gotten to a point where almost everyone you deal with in any service position at all is obviously not a native english speaker. Their accent is either very thick where it's difficult to understand them, or straight up impossible to understand. Indians specifically are disgusting when dealing with them in a rental capacity. Sure they'll pay, but they always have way more people in the unit than it can legally handle and you will absolutely need to spend a ton of money on repairs and pest exterminators becaude they will destroy your unit and attract roaches and other pests while they're at it. Garbage removal is a 100% guarantee. I don't hate these people, but that doesn't mean I want my country flooded with them, especially when it is absolutely the case that I wouldn't get a say no matter who I happened to vote for. And frankly, any muslim following their religion closely at all is one step away from being a violent extremist and I'm tired of pretending otherwise. Sure there are probably plenty of westernized Muslims who have realized that genital mutilation and killing women and girls for the crime of being raped is obviously insane, but most of the men are straight up savages and shouldn't be let within 1000 miles of a country that doesn't share their value system. People who are fat and proud of that fact are disgusting. Most obesity is addressible by diet and some modicum of self-control so anyone who is huge and proud of that fact is the worst. I don't give a rat-shit about Russia, Ukraine, Israel or Palestine and the conflicts therein. I do not care about these people nor do I think I should be made to feel shame for feeling that way about it. Their conflict does not affect me directly in any way. I live in a country where I'm being taxed to the point of where it's difficult to provide for my family, often because my idiot government feels the need to send more money to these countries for virtue points, so excuse me for not having any desire to hear more about this garbage and/or not feeling the need to pick a fucking side. I don't like kale. It's stupid. I don't care how good it is for me. Vaping is gay. I hope the popcorn lung is worth looking like a faggot. That's probably good for now.
