@17d3178a He can ask the Senate to end the filibuster for this narrow purpose. That needs just a simple majority. Does it matter to him that our military is being held hostage by one senator that he is unwilling to even try what he can? Norms. Norms are why he is not doing this. The consequence? Tuberville will continue with his hold until he gets a ransom paid in the upcoming budget battle.
