Grinding/hustling is way overrated when it comes to financial success.

Real wealth is made via quiet study and thought and patience over a long period of time.

But that doesn’t look like anything. So people like to get real busy to convince themselves they’re doing something.

You wanna make millions? Hustle and grind. Wake up at 6am, cold shower, emails, calls, meetings etc…

You wanna make billions? Read. Converse. Wake up whenever, putter, take in the news. Sit alone in a room by yourself mostly. Thinking.
 ok naval.
If navel the fake guru says this as well then he’s right
 🤣
Yes. That’s my experience too. People are asking me what I’m doing. ”I say I’m just hanging around…waiting”
Wha? There’s someone out there that became a billionaire by sitting and reading, along, thinking?

Maybe if they hustled first and then had the time to do the chill study part…
 *alone
 His name is Warren buffet.
I disagree but I think my interpretation of hustle may be different than yours.

Buffett for sure hustled. In his early years the dude was doing newspaper routes and running small businesses.

He spent endless hours, neglecting his family, to devour the moody’s manuals and find bargain investments. Some of these he had to work hard to overthrow the management, including Berkshire Hathaway.

Buffett is constantly working, more than a traditional blue collar worker.

Yes, a good chunk of that is behind a desk but to me that’s hustling.
That’s not really hustling. That’s just work. Hustling is sort of a new cultural term.
 I guess.

To me someone with drive to get things done is a hustler but I see what you’re saying.

I still think it’s essential to have the drive to get up and make things happen.

I have never met a billionaire (that I know of) but most millionaires I’ve met over the years worked hard and had a lot of drive.

Some examples: Chiropractor that had the drive to open more than one practice. Several construction GC’s. Lots of immigrants from the Caribbean/South America/Middle East which opened restaurants, hotels, operate other businesses. They all had drive/hustle to push them above others.

Even billionaires like Bezos/Jobs/Musk hustled or still do. Don’t you think?

I do agree there are some exceptions, Munger was a lawyer but he disnt seem to lift a finger lol
I know a few billionaires. The ones who made it entrepreneurial are hustlers. The ones who made it as investors are chill.
 Fancy friends!
Most of them are super normal and cool people
It’s basically the difference between these two

Bullshit. You can’t make billions without first making millions.
Just because you are sitting on a pile of bitcoin doesn’t make you smart or knows anything about financial success. It could be just dumb luck 😂
I actually don’t have any bitcoin.

Right now the best way to get rich fast is hustle like a maniac and save everything into Bitcoin.

If you are 18-20, You will be financiallly independent by 30
Though I agree to save everything in bitcoin, you would need time to study the world, finances, money, history, etc.

You would need to spend a lot of time in those categories
