 I was working on the car when the woman said to me, "The alert is coming through the phones". Then i heard it on the radio. i forgot it EST and I am on CST time zone.

I removed the battery from my prepaid cell phone this morning when I got up and put it back in about a couple hours after the alleged alert was supposed to have happened. Not that I thought it was going to amount to anything but I don't like to participate in something unless I choose to. I haven't powered on a tv or radio in several years.
